I launched ScentBase in October of 2009. As some of you have noted (hello, survey answerers!), since that time I have been very inconsistent when it comes to updating this blog. One of my New Year's resolutions for 2011 was to become a better blogger (yes, I know it's May now; don't judge me!). Now that I've completed the redesign of the ScentBase logo and website, I've decided it's time to buckle down and work on the site's actual content.
So what can you look forward to? There will be interviews. There will be reviews. There may be trivia. Who knows? But I can promise you, there will be something. (Is there something that you'd especially like to see? Feel free to comment below with your suggestions!)
I also have other plans for the future of ScentBase. I hope to have the ScentBase mobile website up and running very soon, a project that's been in the works for some time, and now has to be updated to reflect the new design aesthetic. Many of you have asked about an advanced search tool, and that's also on my agenda.
Honestly, I have a lot of ideas, and I received a lot of awesome suggestions from users who responded to the survey several months ago. Unfortunately, ScentBase doesn't pay my bills, and often has to take a backseat to other projects that do. But I am listening to your ideas, and I will continue working to make ScentBase the best site possible.
I appreciate all of you guys, and the wonderful feedback and support you've given me in the past year and half or so. Thanks!
