It's only mid-May, and temperatures are already climbing in my neck of the woods (the border of Virginia and Tennessee, USA). This morning, our house felt hot and muggy, and putting my makeup on was not much fun.
This got me thinking about warm weather scents, and what the best notes might be to beat the heat (or revel in it, if that's more your cup of tea).
For today, I picked Possets' Fireflies, an unusual scent for me. Citrus scents often don't work with my chemistry (they kind of smell like sweat, which is definitely not what I'm going for), but Fireflies has a creamy, soft lemon note that works well. It reminds me of frozen lemonade pie. There's also a subtle, not overpowering mint note.
What are your favorite summertime scents?
