Lydia was only ten when she got sick and twelve when she passed away. Therefore, she still enjoyed stories of fairies living in the forest that bordered the canyon. In an attempt to communicate with the fairy folk, she carved lanterns out of hollow baby pumpkins, golden gourds, crimson gourds trimmed in white lace-like patterns, violet gourds with green spots, pinkish orange gourds, and filled them with fire flies. Her lanterns were especially beautiful when spotted on a cold, dark night, dancing through the wood like tiny fae orbs.
White peach, warmed sandalwood, golden amber, honey sugar, cedar wood, white autumn rose, blond vetiver, and sparkling pink and gold fairy dust.
