VApothecary Mausoleum #4, Frankincense Ombre. An Earthy Frankincense resin we attained from the actual shrub of the Boswellia, tapped for the third tapping of Frankincense tears and then brought back to our lab in San Francisco. Such a mysterious scent that surrounds so many religion and cults, be that by the burning of the resin on charcoal or the scent used in Ancient times to give a presence within the Temple to be close to the Gods and allow the scent to culminate a sanctuary where both man and God can be in the same moment. For this Mausoleum blend, I used the most finest white Frankincense resin and slowly used two methods of steam and warming to create the essence of this blend. The aged Ambre Ombre is the background that comes forth and sits back again as you wear this. Try this in the fall and again in the summer to experience a new feel to the perfume. Quite magical in essence and magical in spirit.
