rooster. Her duty is to protect and bless the gravestones in cemeteries. She encourages us to face our mortality and to respect and make peace with death. She is a healer and a ruler over
spiritual death. She helps her followers make their way towards the afterlife when it is their time to go. Once they are in the ground, she protects their graves.
Maman Brigitte likes offerngs of peppered rum and black or purple candles.
