Prospect Hill Cemetery is a very old cemetery that is often called one of the first pioneer cemeteries. Buried there are many early, important Nebraskan figures not only including politicians, but even a brothel owner whose grave is of a bed! In current haunting history, it has been reported that there is one ghost in particular that haunts the cemetery and nearby residences. It is a woman in white figure who seeks to know where her children are buried. Forever she herself is haunted to know where they lay and turns to torment the living with the hope that someone will tell her what she longs to know. This ghost's scent is of cold and sweet skin, milk, tattered white cotton fabric, and the faint breath of funeral incense.
