The Oort Cloud is, technically, still hypothetical-largely because it's hard to track a mass of small, fast, widely-scattered chunks in irregular orbits at a rough distance of one light year from the sun. The Oort is the home of long-period comets patrolling the functional limit of our solar system, marking the dusty line in space where solar gravity gives out and deep galactic wilderness begins.
