The Little Red Spot is #2 in the Under-Appreciated Clouds of Our Solar System series!

The technical term for the Little Red Spot* is 'OVAL BA' but that's not very glamorous, is it? Astronomers have been watching three white ovals circling Jupiter's southern hemisphere since the 1930s. Only in 2000 did they finally moosh up together — in 2005, OVAL BA's winds strengthened and it turned that nice terra-cotta red that means it's finally really made it as a Jovian atmospheric phenomenon. :D

Our conception of the Little Red Spot is as a bit of a party cloud, seeing as it's just hit the big-time: blood orange and fruit punch spiked with brandy!
