VApothecary Vampyre Limited Edition Perfume Oil (Limited)
The Vampyre Collection.
The literary character Dracula by Bram Stoker is said to be loosely based on Vlad III the Impaler of Wallachia (or Vlad Tepes). Tepes translates to 'impaler' and also happened to be Vlad's favourite form of torture. A beginning of an idea that soon formed into the novel, Dracula, except a little more romantic than that.
For NAVA, together we have about fifteen different Dracula books in our NAVA Library, we have a lot of Vampire books but specifically the novel Dracula from books each of us have collected through our lives — all different printings with commissioned art pieces, covers and gold binding. You could say it was one of our more treasured novels. I think the Dracula books would compare to how many 'Egyptian Book of the Dead' books we have. I think both the Easton Press versions of both books might possibly be our most treasured although we're still looking for that rare 1897 publication of Dracula. One day, perhaps. In any event...we love Dracula, the novel and the character and what this perfume is based on.
Dracula is a nobleman and his perfume should be as such. Using a VA Pheromone accord based on the essential oils of deep bergamot, grapefruit, violet and Hungarian Oakmoss, thus began a search for the ultimate scent of what we would have Dracula be part of this Vampyre Collection. Introducing Black Amber to the blend created a texture of scent that was both noble, aristocratic and mysterious. There was one thing left, a touch of Earl Grey Tea and this perfume was Dracula and a drop of Hungarian Incense.
Perfume created by Emerson Hart, Jacek Rose, Bastet, Thoth and Seth Kincaid.
