"Black Dove".
I was inspired to make this after listening to the song for the thousanth time, and watching Frida for the thousand-and-first time:
This song has quite a bit of sentimental value for me — i heard it for the first time after the back injury which kept me bedridden for months and walking with a cane for 2 years, on and off. On top of that i was going thorugh some heartache at the time and as a result of all this, was feeling pretty miserable and sorry for myself. This song kept me from going crazy — with just the right amount of angst and emotion for what i was going through. That back injury is what started my on my photographic career, which, in a convoluted way, led me to making perfumes.
This scent is a deep, dark and rich blend of cacao absolute, black tea, coconut, tobacco, horchata, chili pepper and patchouli. It is intense, delicious and bold with a lot of throw. Strong but sweet, smoky but smooth, if you love strong, rich, sweet scents with a bit of heat, this is a blend you don't want to miss!
