Organic Cocoa, Organic Vanilla Bean & Cream Antioxidant Face Masque with Pomegranate, Coconut Milk, Honey & Green Tea
The Exquisite Face Masque is just that; A powerhouse of antioxidant and skin nourishing ingredients. This masque is not only cleansing and renewing but decadently delicious smelling as well!
This product is not Vegan. It contains honey powder and the coconut powder contains a milk protein called casein. Store your masque in a cool, dry place away from humidity.
INGREDIENTS AND THEIR ACTIONS:
ORGANIC COCOA — A powerful antioxidant/free-radical scavenger. It also contains high levels of magnesium which causes the body to produce progestrone. This is the hormone that we lack during our menstrual cycles which in turn causes breakouts.
COCONUT MILK — High in fatty acids which are naturally antiseptic. Coconut milk gently deep cleans impurities, softens skin and helps create a naturally smooth complexion (think Cleopatra and her famous milk baths). Coconut milk is high in phenolic antioxidants, which helps to combat free radicals. The lauric acid in coconut is a natural germ fighter (antimicrobial).
HONEY POWDER — Honey has antibacterial and antiviral properties. It is also a natural humectant, which helps draw and retain moisture to your skin. It helps renew skin cells, and assists in the formation of stronger collagen (responsible for skins' elasticity) and contains antioxidants that help protect skin from free radical damage. Contains trace amounts of maltodextrin.
GREEN TEA POWDER — Helps assist with evening out skin tone; anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory effects due to Polyphenols content.
ORGANIC VANILLA BEAN POWDER — Gentle exfoliant, decadent scent.
ORGANIC POMEGRANATE POWDER (kosher) — Excellent for mature, dry and irritated skin. Anti-inflammatory, high in Fatty Acids (specifically Punicic). Helps with collagen production, combating free radicals and helps to repair skin. High in Vitamin C. Contains trace amounts of corn starch.
DIRECTIONS:
Directions are included on each jar.
Place approximately 1.5 TBSP in a small bowl and add approx 25 drops of water or flower hydrosol and mix thoroughly. Add more water by the DROP as necessary to form a thick, creamy and spreadable paste. Apply to face using a gentle upward circular motion, avoiding eye area. DO NOT ADD TOO MUCH WATER or masque will be too runny to apply.
**Your skin may begin to tingle slightly shortly after application. This is your mask working and eating away impurities. The tingling should only last for about a minute and will subside. This should not cause any great discomfort!**
Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Wet face with warm water until masque loosens, then remove using the upward gentle circular motion if you wish to gently exfoliate your skin, or simply remove carefully with a washcloth. Follow with your favorite alcohol free toner. Excellent when used before bed!
This masque is also wonderful used as a cleanser! Follow the mixing instructions above and apply to face. Leave on for 2 minutes and rinse with warm water and a washcloth. Pat dry.
INGREDIENTS: Coconut milk, Organic Cocoa, Honey Powder, Pomegranate powder, Organic Vanilla Bean powder, Green tea powder. Contains trace amounts of corn starch and maltodextrin.
The pomegranate powder contains corn starch to keep it from clumping and caking and the Honey powder contains Maltodextrin for the same reason.
