Possets Valentines 2012 Limited Edition Perfume Oil (Limited)
Named after one of the most misogynistic writings of the Middle Ages, the romance of the Rose inspired Christine de Pizan to write her story of The City of Women to combat the chauvanism The Romance promotes. This long and sometimes bawdy poem was allowed to be distributed by the authorities because it helped to keep women in their place. One of the most daring of the Valentine blends, this is a throughly insane pairing of rose and butter and sugar and a drop of light tea. It is one of the strangest and most confusing blends I have ever come up with and it works like mad. Sometimes you feel you have to rebel and run outside the ruts of slender convention, this fragrance is it. The confusion of it all makes it really sexy as it's hard to tell what you are supposed to think of this composition. I love it and I have been wearing it for the best part of a week since I created it. I think it's lovely. No one has done one like it before and I do think it takes a very creative person to wear it and do it justice.
