Possets Star Spangled Summer 2016 Limited Edition Perfume Oil (Limited)
Being the sort of perfumer who never backs down from a challenge, Idaho was going to be tough. Yes, they have a stunning outdoors, yes they have amazing forests, their cities are majestic BUT get serious...what are they known for? Potatoes! Yes, Idaho potatoes have put that state on the map. So what is a perfumer supposed to do with that? Make perfume out of potato, of course! Potato has one great perfuming advantage, it is starch and starch has a very attractive almost papery quality about it. So, I set about capitalizing on that aspect and came up with a dry, beautiful, highly adult blend. I think it's downright vampalicious, totally unexpected, and slather worthy. Yes, it could land you up in the backseat of a pickup with some gorgeous potato farmer or you could seduce half of Manhattan with it (and they would not know what hit them). I am totally tickled with what this turned out to be and I hope you just try it and see for yourself. Potato (yes, potato), a stone like element, a leafy but not succulent green leafy ingredient, a shot of aquatic to leaven out the dry and you have an amazing perfume.
