The goddess of flowers, Chloris is pictured in Botticelli's Primavera as a woman out of whose mouth comes flowers as she speaks. She is being persued by Zepher, the west wind and he finally gets her and she becomes his wife even though she was terrified of him at first. Flowers are at a rage here, so many of the great flowers of spring: lilacs, lily of the valley, rose, violet and several flowers which are part of my hedge at home (viberum being one of them). This is a handsome blend and one which will thrill the heart of any flower lover. More than just a simple melange, and with the promise of the glorious flowers of late spring as well as those at the beginning of the season.
