In all infinite equation — there is a place where the answers can come.
Enlightenment comes in the greatest of hours when I can see into the evening space above. It is here I observe without social or intellectual thought — quite simply I see the lights in the sky and I know of only this mortal coil that life is a constellation of stars inside of each of us and just as stars die — life prevails somewhere in this world on any given moment, within any given second.
This is the Observatory, a place for ourselves, under the perigee of a celestial moon nearest to Earth. The construct of planets and stars and the bond we share with the possibility of something more is the observation, both mental and spiritual, built within creating the Observatory Moon and the Observatory perfumes to come.
As I walk the sleepless nights of San Francisco, I ponder the equation of day and night, of light and dark, of music and scent...all of these things places within my own equation. Then I ask Jacek;
"What of the stars and the planets?"
"These are places that dwell in the spirit of our soul. Of wanting to find answers and looking through books, music, history..for the enlightenment to come."
"I have found some answers, well, my own answers come to me when I am inspired by something, perhaps a belief, a documentary, a piece of music played eloquently on a violin and then sweepingly the symphony of sound takes my breath away, the way art takes my breath away."
"Art is to observe with no consciousness, simply to feel and nothing else. In our Observatory, it is the Moon that we always go back to is is not? The moon and her aura. The moon: an art created to light our evenings. Simply by looking up at her, it calms the furthest reaches of my mind. This is why you find a calmness in the night. This is why you walk, sometimes accompanied by me, sometimes alone along the edge of this city. This is only the beginning of the Observatory. We have great conversations yet to speak upon. Great glasses of Absinthe to inhale the scent of herbs and the past."
"Let this be the beginning of something wonderful."
"One must inhale this knowledge to exhale a sense of peace if they are to understand what we are about, what our perfumes are about, what we think we know and what others know are a great cosmic reaction waiting to erupt. I am the piano keys, you — the violin strings — Seth and Thoth — the sound of voice — together an infusion of the Observatory."
Place a drop on the wrist and forget. Walk under the full moon and remember.
