There are fragrances that are made for a grandmother. And then there's *this* scent, made for *my* grandmother.
When my Abuelita was a pretty lass in Mexico City, she was a tiny thing with prominent hip bones — -and her mother used to sew big pockets on the front of her skirts to hide her "pistolas."
Pistolas is soft, mellow gardenia and lavender (Abuelita's favorite), with an undercurrent of city sidewalks and just a kiss of tobacco leaf.
In honor of Mothers' Day, I'll be presenting this fragrance to Abuelita, and I'm so honored to share it with you as well.
Pistolas has a companion fragrance, Pestaņas, created in honor of my grandparents' love for one another. You can find both the fragrances as a set here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/189179590/pistolas-pestanas-handcrafted-fragrance
This listing is for one plump little 10-mL bottle of Pistolas. Yes, those photos are of my grandparents. Aren't they stunning? :)
