Pazuzu is a Sumerian demon King who presides over the SouthWest winds and who's terrible powers bring storms and drought. He was popularized in the novel (and eponymous film) The Exorcist by William Peter Blatty as the spirit who possessed Regan MacNeil. Pazuzu is depicted chimera-like as he has a human head, a leonine body, taloned feet, two pairs of wings, the tail of a scorpion and a serpent-like phallus.
