Black Phoenix Trading Post (BPTP) Le Mat Limited Edition Perfume Oil (Limited)
This fellow is wise enough to play the fool;
And to do that well craves a kind of wit.
He must observe their mood on whom he jests,
The quality of persons, and the time,
And, like the haggard, cheque at every feather
That comes before his eye. This is a practise
As full of labour as a wise man's art
For folly that he wisely shows is fit;
But wise men, folly-fall'n, quite taint their wit.
The Fool is the Trickster manifesting in human form, speaking truth through jests and riddles. This scent is a Trinity: the Coxcomb, the Marotte, and the Motley, symbolizing the Crown of Wisdom of the court jester, the delight of innocent joy that the tarot"s fool represents, and, finally, completion within oneself.
This triumvirate of perfumes has a merry face, but much lies beneath. The scents can be worn individually, but layered together, they, like the Fool, represent Limitless Potential and the bittersweet realization of brutal wisdom. In the center of this seeming cacophony of scents lies the unreflective self, and the silence of Harpocrates.
Golden pear, amber, fig leaf, oakmoss, bronze musk, mahogany, patchouli, and a smattering of glittering pyrite
